Gaisce Shop FAQs

Will I get a discount for bulk orders?
Yes, for orders of five or more hoodies, the price reduces to €30 per hoodie, if the orders are to be delivered to the same address. If PALs are ordering hoodies on behalf of Gaisce participants they support, we advise them to order them in bulk for delivery to one address to reduce costs.

To avail of the bulk order discount, simply place your order as normal on our online store and the discounted rate will be automatically applied. Postage will be charged at €10 per bulk order.

 

Can I personalise my hoodie with the name of my school or club?
Gaisce does not currently offer personalised hoodies. Due to the printing process for hoodies, the cost of personalisation would be very high.  However, the hoodies were designed in such a way as to allow for personalisation at a later stage by young people themselves.

 

Where does the money from my purchase go?
Gaisce is a personal development programme for young people in Ireland.  We are also a charity, and our mission is to ensure that every young person in Ireland has access to take part in the Gaisce programme.    Gaisce is working hard to bring the Awards to every organisation in which young people between the ages of 15 and 25 can be found.  These include schools, youth and community groups, prisons, scouting organisations, disability organisations, sporting organisations, employers and many more.  By purchasing a Gaisce hoodie, you are enabling us to increase access to the Gaisce programme, ensuring that more young people in Ireland can achieve a Gaisce Award.

In planning for selling Gaisce branded goods, we have considered a number of important factors:

  • Every effort to keep our prices low to ensure we do not create any barriers for young people participating in the Gaisce Awards programme.
  • Any item that we sell will be relevant to the activities that young people undertake to participate in the Awards.
  • Gaisce supports Irish businesses by purchasing from Irish suppliers where possible.
  • Gaisce has researched our suppliers to ensure that our products are ethically and sustainably produced while still remaining affordable to Gaisce participants.

 


Why is my order late?
We strive for perfection in all we do, but in some cases delays or errors can occur during the production and/or delivery process. Please alert us at shop@gaisce.ie if you have any questions about your order.

Can I have my order shipped to a friend or family member?
Yes, of course! You can ship your order to any address in Ireland. You will be asked to enter a shipping address and a delivery address at the point of order and these addresses can be different from each other.


I did not receive all my items in my package. What gives!?
Please reach out to us at shop@gaisce.ie with any issues or late deliveries. We are committed to ensuring that every young person receives their product on time and in perfect condition so we are eager to resolve any issues.


Can I make a change to my order after it has been processed?
If you would like to make a change to your order after it has been processed, send an email as soon as possible to shop@gaisce.ie detailing the changes to be made and Gaisce will make every effort within reason to accommodate the changes.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Refund policy: Only defective/damaged goods will be replaced or refunded where notified within 14 days of dispatch. When you send your item back to us we will process the returned item and offer you the choice of a replacement or a refund.

All other refund requests will be at the discretion of Gaisce. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you wish to contact us about returns or to make a complaint please email us at shop@gaisce.ie.

How much does postage, packing and delivery cost?
Delivery is a set cost of €4.50 per delivery. To keep your costs down, Gaisce advises PALs to manage the orders for your young people by bulk ordering hoodies to a central address.


The size I want is no longer available? When will it be available again?
Contact us at shop@gaisce.ie if your size is no longer available. We will endeavour to give a timescale of when your size will be in stock again.

 

I live outside Ireland, can you deliver to me?
Currently, Gaisce only delivers to the island of Ireland only (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). However, we may be able to arrange to deliver outside of the island of Ireland by special arrangement. Contact us at shop@gaisce.ie with your request.
